Affordable Housing

IAVF has partnered with The Lynd Group as a vehicle for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Supportive housing (HUD-VASH) program, which combines Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance, long-term case management and clinical service support for Veterans in need. We also offer Veteran-friendly leasing terms to those who do not qualify for the HUD-VASH program.

Regardless if you’re currently homeless or just seeking a better living arrangement, we would love to have you as one of our Veteran residents!

Transportation

We understand that transportation is a major barrier to a Veteran’s success, whether it be getting to a VA appointment, job interview or even a grocery store. Our transportation services can help you get to where you need to go.

IAVF is partnering with OneCall and its RelayRIDE system which combines scheduling, monitoring and communication services together with Lyft’s open API to provide Veterans free, practical and independent transportation to select locations.

“Vets Helping Vets”
Volunteer & Employment

We offer volunteer and employment opportunities to give Veterans the direct ability to help other Veterans. These opportunities include:

Supportive Services Property Coordinator who will facilitate IAVF’s supportive services and engage with Veterans in the community.

Veteran Driver who will assist in transporting Veterans from IAVF properties to select locations within the community.

These positions play pivotal roles within our daily operations and allow our Veterans to help other Veterans in the process.

Supplemental Supportive Services

IAVF works closely with Veterans Affairs and key local Veteran Service Organizations like the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign War and their respective chapters, to deliver valuable support. This includes handling claims, providing individual & group counseling, case management, employment opportunities, financial & VA home loan assistance, military records, food, clothing, temporary housing, memorialization, healthcare & wellness, education benefits and more.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide permanent, stable, and safe affordable housing and deliver expert supplemental supportive services to all Veterans & their families in need.

Our Values

  • Dedication
  • Experience
  • Integrity
  • Community

Our Vision

Through a commitment to our core values, we envision a future that every Veteran and their family receives the quality of life that they fought so hard to provide, preserve and protect.
